Summer 2020 Garden - Plant Growth Gallery
/Lovely garden growth in June, a late start for Zone 9B
I was late to get in the garden this year, due to building the new boxes and then shoveling all the soil into place.
However, I am super excited about the growth progress and am looking forward to a bountiful harvest this fall!
I started all these plants from seed, mostly heirloom varieties from Baker Creek Seeds (www.rareseeds.com) and I highly recommend them. I had great germination rates and lots of interesting choices there. The more common varieties I found at my local garden center.
In the fashion of 2020, this is my ‘quarantine garden’, and I only wish I had more time to spend in it. (or the space for more raised beds)
I am taking notes on all these plants, their growth, disease and pest resistance, and yield. Look out for updates with my reviews of these veggies at the end of the growing season.
